Scope and Contents

This collection includes photographs documenting life in Warren County, Ohio, primarily during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Included are personal portraits, images of buildings and businesses, and group pictures of organizations. Also of note are images documenting daily operations at the Glendower Museum. The work of many photographers is represented in this collection, including many Ohio photographers.

This collection includes a compilation of photographs from many smaller collections once held at the Glendower Museum in Warren County, Ohio. The contents are separated into folders according to their original organization at the Glendower Museum(each folder corresponds to a different Glendower collection). A chart accompanying the finding aid can aid the researcher in determining the original source of a particular item. This collection can be divided into three series as seen below: I.
