Boys' industrial school records

Scope and Contents Collects in one section boy's full name, case number, age, and place of residence. Also shows complainant, judge, charges (larceny, burglary, theft, truancy, vagrancy, "general cussedness," assault, "running the streets learning mischief," or incorrigibility), and witnesses heard with findings of the court. Later volumes may also contain a complete medical statement, and a family history discussing conditions in the boy's home and relating any previous offenses.
