This collection includes a leaflet concerning a painting commissioned by individual members of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to honor John Glenn's achievement, to pay tribute to his personal courage, and to recognized the contributions of Ohio citizens and industry to the Project Mercury program. The pamphlet includes a biographical sketch of John Glenn. The original commissioned painting is in the object collections of the Ohio History Connection.
